    What exactly does Carepath Caribbean’s Cancer Navigation Service cover?

    Our Cancer Navigation Service guides you and your family from diagnosis all the way through to the end of active cancer treatment. You’ll be paired with a dedicated Oncology Nurse Case Manager, supported by Carepath Caribbean’s team of oncologists and health care professionals. Your nurse will help you understand your diagnosis, review test results, explain treatment options, manage side effects, coordinate with your doctors, and connect you with trusted support services: locally and internationally.

    No. The Carepath Caribbean program works alongside your current health care providers. It does not replace your doctors or hospital care. Instead, it serves as an independent, expert guide and advocate, helping you make informed decisions and stay organized throughout your cancer journey.

    This service is available to patients and family members living anywhere in the Caribbean who are facing a new cancer diagnosis, are already in treatment, or are in follow-up care. You do not need to be insured. This is a self-pay program available to anyone seeking professional guidance and support through their cancer journey.

    The full cost of the Carepath Caribbean Cancer Navigation Program is $2,900 USD per person. This includes your personal Oncology Nurse Case Manager, oncologist consultation and review, access to educational resources, and navigation support for the full duration of your care journey. Please note that any fees for requesting medical records will be the patient’s responsibility. There are no additional costs or hidden fees unless optional medical services or testing are requested by you.

    Once you register and complete payment, you’ll receive an intake form to provide your medical history and care goals. You will be assigned a dedicated Oncology Nurse Case Manager who will contact you directly to begin your personalized navigation plan.

    Your Oncology Nurse Case Manager will:

In collaboration with Princess Margaret Hospital and other hospitals in the University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto, Canada, we can assist patients who wish to explore diagnostic or treatment options in Canada. Your Oncology Nurse Case Manager can help you prepare medical records, coordinate referrals, and liaise with the University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto. The cost for receiving care in Toronto will be in addition to the $2,900 USD for the cancer navigation services, billed directly to you or your insurance provider by UHN. We suggest you contact your health insurance provider to see what services will be covered before you decide to go to Toronto.

    Yes. In collaboration with Princess Margaret Hospital and other hospitals in the University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto, Canada, we can assist patients who wish to explore diagnostic or treatment options in Canada.     Yes. Cancer affects everyone in the household. Your Oncology Nurse Case Manager can include family members in discussions, provide emotional support, and offer resources to help caregivers understand how best to assist you.

    Most patients receive navigation support for approximately six months, depending on diagnosis and treatment complexity. Your Oncology Nurse Case Manager remains with you from your initial diagnosis all the way through active cancer treatment.

    Payment of $2,900 USD is made directly to Carepath Caribbean by credit card or wire transfer. Once referral and payment is received, you will be assigned an Oncology Nurse Case Manager who will reach out to you directly.

    At this time, the program is a private, self-funded service. Some clients may be reimbursed by their employer health plans or insurers. Please check directly with your provider.

    • Guidance for ongoing follow-up, recovery, or return-to-work planning
