Expert cancer care navigation
=  assisting you to deliver the best patient care

We can ensure you have what you need to deliver the best possible patient care:

Appropriate radiation and chemotherapy treatment

Infrastructure: operating room, nurses & technicians

Treatment solutions for the most complex cancer

What we do for YOU & your PATIENTS

We provide advice on cancer prevention, screening and management of symptoms.

Your patient, who has been diagnosed with cancer, will be assigned an experienced oncology nurse. This nurse remains with your patient and their family throughout their entire cancer journey. The support provided by the nurse is backed up by our oncology treatment team at an international centre. Support is available virtually or by phone and includes:

Information: your patient learns more about their particular cancer. We explain diagnosis, test results and treatment procedures.

Tests: we assist your patient in accessing tests and treatments and taking part in clinical trials where appropriate.

Treatment: we asses treatment plans to ensure the best quality treatment available and that best medical practices are used. Cancer institutions, such as Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, can provide the care.

Coordination of care: we interface with the treatment centre and the referring physician.

International treatment: we are also identifying cancer patients in the Caribbean who cannot be treated locally due to the complexity of care required. These patients, who  need to be treated at an international centre of excellence, can now be treated in Toronto.

We have formed an agreement with the University Health Network in Toronto, which includes Princess Margaret Hospital, to treat these patients.

Who are we?

We are a group of health care professionals with decades of experience in the field of oncology. Our front-line staff, a team of trained and experienced nurse case managers, work with us to deliver the best possible care: from diagnosis to recovery.

We started Carepath Caribbean in 2020, as a Canadian owned company, to address the health care needs of the public and private patients living in the English-speaking Caribbean. We provide virtual navigation in its entire range to people dealing with cancer. In the future we will include services for the other two most common chronic conditions: diabetes/obesity and cardiac issues.
